H.E Nguon Meng Tech, Director General of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, had a meeting with H.E. Mr. José Ramón Rodríguez Varona, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Cuba to the Kingdom of Cambodia on April 08, 2014 at the head office of CCC. The meeting is held to explore on delivery an Exportable Offer of Cuban Products and Services to import-export between both countries Cambodia & Cuba in future.
First of all, H.E. Mr. José Ramón Rodríguez Varona said that this is a good opportunity to have the meeting and discussion with Director General of CCC and he continued that Cuba is a country has good policy condition but it has blocked economy by United States of American, however, Cuba has good connection and relationship with others countries in continental of Latino, especially with Asian countries such as: Vietnam, China, Singapore, Cambodia and others. In this meeting, H.E Mr. Ramón said that this is time for Cambodia and Cuba to make strongly relationship between both countries and help Cuba for providing the important information to CCC members on Cuban products Export and Services of medical and engineering. Continued H.E Mr. Ramón, it is his pleasure to inform that we have just had new president of Cuba Chamber of Commerce, H.E Mr. Olando Hernandez Quiyon, and hopefully that both chambers will have strongly relationship in future. In particular, he will inform to Cuba government to invite Cambodia government and CCC delegates to official visit in Cuba for business purpose and take this opportunity to sign MOU both chambers.

In response, H.E Nguon Meng Tech said that CCC is a representative institution of private sector in Cambodia. Therefore, it is very useful for you to visit CCC for giving us this information and need our assistant, and CCC will provide and send this information to CCC members to be informed. And H.E Director General hopefully that all businessmen in both countries will have good connection on various businesses through government and private sector in future. Continued he said that all foreign investors seeking trading partners in Cambodia come to consult with CCC and use CCC directory as business guidance. In regard to importing-exporting process in Cambodia, there are not many difficulties because the Ministry of Commerce has been trying to eliminate all obstacles to facilitate the business transaction, encourage foreign investors and promote business environment in Cambodia. However, H.E Director General looks forward from the Cuba government to invite Cambodia government and CCC members for the official visit in Cuba to make strongly connection and relationship in both countries on Trade & Business.
Finally, H.E Nguon Meng extended his appreciation to H.E. Mr. José Ramón Rodríguez Varona for giving the important information on Cuban products Export & products medical & engineering services to all CCC members through CCC. CCC is always welcome and gives assistance to Cuban investors for future cooperation.
