VILACAED is an association based in Ha Noi, Vietnam. Its main roles are to promote the trade between the three countries, Vietnam, Lao, Cambodia and to support business by training and providing know-how on investment procedures in these countries. Dr Cao Van Ban, chief of development assistance committee, said that this year, 2010, VILACAED would like to have a trade exhibition in Phnom Penh. This exhibition focuses on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and aims to promote local business and products. To run this event smoothly, he would like to ask for recommendation and cooperation with Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC).

H.E Nguon Meng Tech, director general of CCC, suggested VILACAED to first check the availability of expo place, for example Diamond Island; and try to avoid national holiday. Then VILACAED should go through the channel of Vietnam Embassy. The Embassy, then, works with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia. VILACAED should also work with Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia for custom and duty on products imported for exhibition purposes.
