During IMF mission to Phnom Penh, Mr. Olaf Unteroberdoerster of Asia Pacific Department had a meeting with H.E Nguon Meng Tech, director general of CCC, to seek for further understanding and discussions on business development in 2009, 2010 to date and outlook for the year and beyond; and improvements to the business and investment climate. He also would like to know the CCC’s roles and organization.

H.E Nguon Meng Tech briefed Mr. Unteroberdoerster on general business climate and improvements so far, including factors promoting business growth and barriers to private sector development. CCC has been active in support only Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) but also large scale ones. CCC is formed by Phnom Penh Chamber of Commerce and Provincial Chamber of Commerce. It is recognized by the government. There are three types of membership namely elected member, advisory member, and ordinary member.
