Ambassador of India Requests Cambodia Chamber of Commerce to Host Cambodian-Indian Business Meeting during the Visit of the President of India to Cambodia

Mr. Rajesh K. Sachdeva, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Cambodia, met H.E Nguon Meng Tech, director general of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC), on August 11, 2010, to request CCC to host a business meeting during India’s President Visit. The event will be held at Intercontinental Hotel in the evening of September 15, 2010. There will be around 100 people from Indian side, including businessmen doing business in Cambodia and businessmen accompanying the President. The event will be chaired by the President of India. Mr. Ambassador said, “This is high level of visit and business event is a good message to the public that Cambodia and India want to enhance business relation.”  India will provide financial support for this event.

H.E Nguon Meng Tech welcomed the business meeting event. CCC will invite its members to attend this event. CCC is pleased to provide support and helps to organize this meeting. However, there will be a lot of concurrent events during September. CCC is concerned about not having enough manpower to host the meeting. H.E Nguon Meng Tech will ask for a final say from Neak Oknha Kith Meng, the president of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce on whether or not CCC is able to host this event.
