Mr. Giovanni Capannelli, Principal Economist and Senior Research Fellow of ADB Institute, met H.E Nguon Meng Tech, Director General of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) on March 07, 2012 to seek for input for priority areas, and manufacturing sectors and how Cambodia is to diversify its economy.

H.E Nguon Meng Tech mentioned that agriculture sector still needs more technical skill and value added. In case of tourism, it grows double digit every year. Garment industry is stable but still needs FDI on support industry such as textile. Agro-industry would be one of potential areas for economic diversification. Tourism is another area to be considered.
