BECOME A MEMBER
On Tuesday afternoon of June 01, 2021 H.E. Oknha Nguon Meng Tech, Director General of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) received a courtesy call by Ms. Marisa Haruta, Chief Representative of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Cambodia.
During the meeting, H.E Oknha Nguon Meng Tech warmly welcomed the presence and close cooperation between CCC and JETRO in Cambodia, where both institutions has organized a lots of joint businesses matchings to attract Japanese investors to Cambodia. CCC will continue to support JETRO in organizing business matching and promote the potential of Cambodia to Japanese businessmen and investors.
Ms. Marisa Haruta expressed her thanks to H.E Okhna General Director of CCC for the constant support towards JETRO, especially in successfully organizing trade fairs and business matching called Good Goods Japan in February 2021. In this context, she also requested CCC to continue to support similar events by the end of 2021 which will focus on the agriculture sector. Furthermore, she also requested CCC to cooperate in preparing a documentation video of the potential of Cambodia, which will include key Cambodian businessmen, to be promoted to the business community in Japan.
The meeting was concluded with fruitful outcome in a friendly atmosphere. Both organizations shall continue the cooperation to promote trade and investment between both countries.
