BECOME A MEMBER
On Thursday Morning June 03, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce organized a meeting to discuss the requests from Cambodia Chamber of Commerce. The meeting was presided over by H.E Mao Thora, Secretary of State of Ministry of Commerce, representing H.E Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, with the participation of H.E Okhna Nguon Mengtech, Director General of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, H.E, Chumteav, ladies and gentlemen from Ministry of Commerce and Cambodia Chamber of Commerce. The meeting focused on 3 agendas:
1) Request to establish a representative office of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce in Japan, in response to the request of Japanese investors aimed to attract more investors to Cambodia
2) Request to create a partnership mechanism between the Municipal-Provincial Administration and Municipal-Provincial Chamber of Commerce, in order to facilitate the business, trade and investment at the Municipal-Provincial level and enhance the efficiency to solve issues in timely manner
3) Request to elect a new President of Banteay Meanchey Chamber of Commerce due to the death of the former President.
The above requests have been discussed actively based on applicable law and regulations. The meeting was concluded with fruitful outcomes and agreed on procedures for implementation the above three requests.
